Описание: Kool-Aid was invented by Edwin Perkins in Hastings, Nebraska. All of his experiments took place in his mother's kitchen. Its predecessor was a liquid concentrate called Fruit Smack. To reduce shipping costs, in 1927, Perkins discovered a way to remove the liquid from Fruit Smack, leaving only a powder; This powder was named Kool-Aid. Perkins moved his production to Chicago in 1931 and Kool-Aid was sold to General Foods in 1953. Kool-Aid is known as Nebraska's official soft drink.

An agreement between Kraft Foods and SodaStream in 2012 made Kool-Aid's various flavors available for consumer purchases and use with SodaStream's home soda maker machine.

There is an active scene of Kool-aid collectors. A rare old Kool-Aid package can be traded for up to several hundred dollars on auction websites.

edit from the future: when I was making this, I said the phrase 'ooga booga' when I meant to reference 'oogie boogie' like that guy from the nightmare before Christmas. There weren't any comments about this calling me out or anything, I just decided to take responsibility and action myself because I just read that the phrase 'ooga booga' was a derogatory term meaning "A stereotypical rendering of what the speaker regards to be the language of those deemed by them to be African savages." Therefore I decided to cut that out my video. I was unaware of this before and I hope this brings awareness to other people as well, which is why I'm mentioning it here :D I didn't want to just cut this out and not mention anything because I feel like it's important to bring up. ok love u guys B)
