Three-time Olympian Stephanie Au celebrated Air Max Day 2018 earlier in the year, designing her own Air Max 270. That would go on to inspire Nike‘s latest 270, using her original Swarovski crystal reimagination.
Nike naturally turned the Hong Kong swimmer’s milieu into water-inspired designs. That translated into a metallic silver panel on the rear, and the numbers “00:59:99” are also printed, representing the athlete’s personal best in the 100m backstroke. On the otherwise white mesh-upper, a translucent-blue Air Max unit completes.
