Chloe Corrigan (aged 12) playing in the under 13 any solo instrument competition at the Rothbury Traditional Music Festival.
First tune - Slow Air "Believe me". Second tune - Hornpipe "Madame Bonaparte" with variations and some twiddly bits (hence the look of concentration on her face!).
Chloe chose to play these two pieces in memory of her late Northumbrian Pipes teacher Mr Tommy Breckons of Bellingham. They were two of his favourite pieces and he was teaching them to Chloe shortly before he became unwell. I am sure that, although these pieces are still works in progress for Chloe, he would have been very pleased with her performance.
