Buried Under Water for 64 Years, Searching Ghost Town Ruins from Lake Mead : Exploration Adventure

Описание: Join us today on @offroad801 as we explore the ruins of the abandoned ghost town of St. Thomas, and a couple of other popular places. This is going to be a fun little trip - so we're very glad you're here and hope you'll return in the future. We'll be exploring in the Jeep Wrangler and starting in St. Thomas. It became a ghost town because it was "in the way" when the government decided to make LAKE MEAD.
: In 1864, Brigham Young called for settlers to colonize the Muddy River valley - currently known as Moapa valley. On Jan. 8 , 1865 - 11 men and 3 women began the first settlement known as St. Thomas. Now known as the "Lost City"
: 2012, St. Thomas was exposed for the 3rd time, by the dwindling LAKE MEAD. And remains exposed to this day. We'll go see the foundations that are left behind - and they are quite interesting I must say.
: We'll also go take a look at Lake Mead and check out how it's looking at the moment. We stop at Stewarts Point to do this, and oh boy - it's looking pretty scary.

Lastly, we'll show you our first stop of the day at Mormon Mesa to take a look at the "Double Negative" from the drone's view. A piece of so-called land art.
