I wrote Well Written, inspired by the people who live and breathe thoroughbred racing in New Zealand — the trainers, stable staff, owners, jockeys, and punters who make it all happen.
And also, because, as a hobby and for sheer fun, my mates from Whangamata have had shares in horses since the ’80s with… mixed results. Then 'Well Written' comes along. Can you imagine? Their enthusiasm is beyond infectious. I've been bitten by the Well Written bug, and love the buzz.
