According to students of Jamia Millia Islamia university who held a protest march on Monday towards parliament, they were brutally poked with sticks by the Delhi police personnel in their private parts. Police allegedly jabbed at the students with batons selectively aiming at body parts so as to hurt them, ensuring their actions are not captured by cameras of media personnel. Many student with injuries have been admitted to the hospital. However, the public relations officer of Jamia University said that the injuries suffered by students were due to 'suffocation' caused in the melee. On today's Prime Time, we speak to some of the students who witnessed the ground reality of what transpired in the clash between students and cops. (Audio in Hindi)
