We leave Belfast and sail across the North Channel into the Firth of Clyde. The plan is to sail as far as Largs but on the way the wind dies on us and we decide to divert into Lamlash Bay on the Isle of Arran where we get enchanted by Holy Isle... We hike to the island's peak and experience a spiritual moment. Holy Isle is owned by Tibetan monks who run the World Centre Of Peace And Health in the old farm turned to monastery.
