Описание: In this tutorial you will learn how to weave a basket for dolls or for yourself. Miniature basket weaving is a great way to learn the art of weaving because you can finish your project quickly when it's tiny. And you just can't get much cuter than a tiny hand woven basket.

I really hope you enjoy the little fairytale that's handwoven throughout this miniature tutorial. The blue fairy's first love is blueberries, and her second is basket weaving. How will she ever find room in her heart for a cicada prince?

0:38 Start of basket weaving tutorial.
0:39 Paint and cut the wires.
0:54 Make a cross with the wires and loop your cord.
1:02 Twist once and lead it over the first section. Twist again and lead it over the next section. Do this for each of the four sections.
1:19 Repeat this process you you've gone all the way around three times.
1:33 Twine each individual spoke.
2:35 Repeat the twining three times around.
2:45 Cut off one of the cords and one spoke.
2:58 Weave the remaining cord for two cycles, then glue the cut cord if desired.
3:56 Bend the spokes after weaving four cycles. Then weave up the bent spokes.
4:57 Weave in a ribbon if desired.
5:15 Continue to weave up the basket for approximately 3 cycles.
5:28 Finish the basket by bending each spoke behind it's neighbor.
5:50 Secure the handles
6:11 Enjoy your basket!
