Описание:
A small, triangular muscle of the head that occupies the glabella, between the eyebrows.
It depresses medial end of eyebrow, wrinkles skin of glabella, frowning (facial expression).
(Nasal group of facial muscles: Provide movement of the nose and perinasal skin.)
• procerus
• compressor naris (transverse part of the nasalis)
• dilator naris (alae nasi)
• levator labii superioris alaeque nasi (levator nasolabialis)
• depressor septi nasi
(Blood supply)
• angular branches of facial artery
• lateral nasal branches of facial artery
(Innervation)
• temporal branch of facial nerve
• zygomatic branch of facial nerve
• buccal branch of facial nerve
