Sardar Jagat Singh speaks of practices which were common in his village. He touches upon Hindu, Sikh & Muslim unity/co-operation and how village households looked out for one and other. The practice of giving seemed to be of a second nature and it was almost as if a village was one family.
He also speaks of a neighbour called Gujjar, who went to Pakistan during the 1947 partition, but soon returned.
