STORYLINE:
Brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces flew their flags from drones above Kyiv to mark Independence Day on Wednesday.
At the front of the column, a drone carried a huge Ukrainian flag.
Last year on Independence Day, this flag flew in the skies above Avdiivka.
Aside from the national flag, motivational standards for Ukrainian military brigades were also presented.
The flight was organised as part of the Army of Drones project.
The event's goal was to thank Ukraine's soldiers, while reminding everyone about the importance of drones in the war.
