Описание: This drawing lesson is for my fifth grade art students, who are learning how to draw the human figure in proportion. Before we begin drawing, we review nonstandard units of measurement and basic fractions. I scaffold the lesson by having the students draw on a pre-drawn grid, which is directly next to a pre-drawn human figure mannequin on the same grid (of the same size). This helps them work on proportions and build their confidence before moving on to a blank sheet of paper.
