#donotsettle

Описание: Are you sick of reading the same magazine, to find always the same projects, explained in the same way? We are, for sure… for this reason, on the 22nd and 23rd of March, Acropoli is gonna host #donotsettle who will bring us some “fresh air”. Infact, #donotsettle is gonna show, through its work, its original vision of architecture through the camera.

Who is #donotsettle?

Kris Provoost and Wahyu Pratomo in 2014 launched their YouTube channel, #donotsettle, aiming to bring architecture onto this virtual platform. They both graduated in two of the best University of architecture in the world and worked for a few years in offices like ZHA or NACO, their current YouTube channel has more than 25.000 followers. The originality and the freshness of their videos made some of the main archistars curious, like BIG and MVRDV, who started to commission them the videos of their masterpieces.
Kris and Wahyu accepted our invitation with great enthusiasm, proposing an event spread in two days:

March 22nd: CONFERENCE. We’ll gather at the University of engineering in Mesiano (TN), room 2F, at 6.00 PM to hear their stories told through their videos.

March 23rd: FILMSESSION. For the whole day Wahyu and Kris will guide us through the movie world, making the video of the Albere Neighborhood designed by Renzo Piano. In the morning we’ll do the video recordings and in the afternoon we’ll do the preliminary cuttings all together.
