The total estimated cost of the Linhai Highway project is 2.44 billion yuan, and it is a fast channel from the city center to the coastal tourist resort.

South Yanggao Road:
South Yanggao Road is a north-south main road in Pudong New District, Shanghai, China, starting from Xiuyan Road in the south and ending at Century Avenue in the north.
South Yanggao Road is the southern part of Yanggao Road, which was built in 1956 and opened to traffic in March 1957. Yanggao Road starts from Yangsi Township, Shangnan Road in the south and ends at Gaohang in the north, hence the name. In 1992, Yanggao Road was expanded on a large scale as one of the ten basic backbone projects of the Shanghai Municipal Government to develop Pudong. The project started in January and was completed and opened to traffic on December 5 of the same year. After completion, the road width was widened to 50 meters, with a total of eight lanes in both directions.

Middle Yanggao Road:
Middle Yanggao Road is located in the western part of Pudong New Area. It starts from Jinhai Road in the north and ends at Yuanshen Road in the south. It is 7,250 meters long and 50.0 meters wide. It was built in 1956 and was originally the middle section of Yanggao Road. It was renamed in 1992. Along the road are residential buildings and shops, including Jinqiao Export Processing Zone and Lujiazui Financial and Trade Zone.
On July 30, 2022, the main line of the Middle Yanggao Road (Middle Ring Interchange ~ Jinhai Road) reconstruction project was officially opened to traffic. The main line of the overpass opened to traffic starts from Taierzhuang Road and ends at North Yanggao Road, with a total length of 1.4 kilometers. The main line of Middle Yanggao Road is a two-way 6-lane road, and the main line and ground road in the direction of Middle Yanggao Road-Jinhai Road are two-way 4-lane roads.

Jinhai Elevated Road:
Jinhai Elevated Road is an urban expressway in Pudong New Area, Shanghai, China. It is one of the radials in the "four rings, eight radials and twelve links" expressway system planned for Pudong New Area. It is also an east-west radial channel connecting the inner, middle, outer and suburban ring roads.
Jinhai Elevated Road will start construction in January 2023 and will be put into operation on December 21, 2024.
Jinhai Elevated Road runs east-west, starting from the Yanggao Road Interchange of the Jinhai Elevated Road in the west and ending at the Chuansha Road off-ramp in the east. It is approximately 7 kilometers long and has six lanes in both directions. The design speed is 80 kilometers per hour on the main line and 40 kilometers per hour on the ramp.
