Описание: The Basilica Maggiore is principal church of the Franciscan sanctuary of La Verna, Italy. Construction began in 1348 and the basilica was consecrated in 1568. The basilica houses the habit worn by St. Francis when he received the stigmata in 1224 as well as a significant number of glazed terracotta sculptures by Andrea della Robbia!
