Описание: Storm Eunice had been quite destructive but in this video it is not quite as dramatic. I managed to struggle against the strong morning winds to still get to the chapel at the top of St. Ives island. When I arrived there were some people trying to get some good video of the wild,powerful winds. It was difficult to stand up straight so people had to brace themselves and lean forward so as not to be blown over. It was a very powerful storm but fortunately not much was damaged in St.Ives. Later on I went to Porthgwidden to view the surfers trying to negotiate the powerful ,dramatic sea and as sunset approached the wild wind continued to produce more dramatic waves. Finally at night there were some hailstones raining down on the street outside Wetherspoons. I like looking at hailstones but generally they only last for a short time. In other parts of England the storm was exceptionally powerful-apparently the strongest storm ever recorded in England- but fortunately not very destructive in St. Ives .
