Basic Figure 8 Wire Weave (2 Ways) Over Two Base Wires for both Left-Handed and Right-Handed Weavers

Описание: The Basic Figure 8 wire weave is a pattern that I particularly love to use on organic designs because it creates a beautiful texture that feels natural somehow. I think this weave works really well on my Ride the Wave bracelet, which I'll be launching as a make-along series soon. So, I wanted to get a quick tutorial out for this simple wire weave.

We're going to work two different versions of this weave today. The first one is the most basic variation of this weave where we'll make a single wrap around each of the two core wires in the classic figure 8 pattern. Then, we'll modify the weave slightly be doing a double-wrap version of the Figure 8 weave. The 2-base wire version of the double-wrap Figure 8 weave has a very different look and feel than the 3-base version that we used recently in the Twig Pendant Make-Along. But it's the same concept in that we complete two wraps on the first base wire before switching direction and making two full wraps on the second base wire.
