After the Pakistan ceasefire violation at the LoC, the Gupkar lobby states that there should be an initiation of dialogue between the two nations. Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Chief and former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Mehbooba Mufti reacted to the incident saying that India should have a dialogue with Pakistan.
Mehbooba Mufti asked India and Pakistan to rise above politics and start a dialogue. She further stated that it was sad to witness casualties on both sides of the border. The state of Kashmir was recently attacked with an unprovoked ceasefire violation made by Pakistan targeting innocent civilians claiming the lives of jawans and locals.
