Not Allowed to Love- Bat Out of Hell Animatic

Описание: I'm actually really happy and excited to share this with everyone! It's my first animatic, so it's not great, but I am, nonetheless, proud of it. Please note that I have not seen the show live, so it may not be accurate at all! This is my own interpretation of the song, and I hope you enjoy it.

The song and show is 'Not Allowed to Love' from Bat Out of Hell the musical, an amazing new show by Jim Steinman that's been in the work for over fifty years. Although I (obviously) haven't been a fan for that long, I know people who have said every minute of waiting was worth it. Go see the show if possible.

Tink was originally portrayed by the amazing Aran MacRae. Since then, he's handed the role off to the spectacular Alex Thomas-Smith. They both bring different and wonderful things to this character.

(Potential spoilers for explanation!) The video is about Tink, one of the members of The Lost, a gang of people who were all genetically frozen at the age of eighteen- that is except for Tink. Cursed to be forever younger than the others he is often seen as an outcast. Despite everything, he has a crush on Strat, the leader of the Lost. But as the show would prove Strat has other plans for his love life and Tink laments this. There are guest appearances from Valkyrie, Blake, and Sloane Falco. The explanation of Valk and Blake is that it's the moment when Blake gives their daughter's doll back to Valk (if you don't understand that reference, watch Bat Chat here:    • BATCHAT EP - 5 Georgia Carling & Patrick S...  .
