Ocean Films [.com] [.br] is tiny in size but unbelievable in execution – I think THE smoothest portfolio experiences I’ve seen this year!
Here’s what stands out ↓
🕰️ That “clock” reel
A looping ring of tiny video clips that rotate as you scroll. Each thumbnail pivots to face the right way, each frame feels alive… it’s such a clever, distinctive way to present a showreel.
⚡️ Instant page transitions
Click a project and the video opens instantly. Press escape and you’re straight back to the homepage with zero delay. Whatever they’re using for these transitions is outrageous – it feels like the whole site lives in one breath.
🎛️ A custom video player is always a nice touch 👌
Full screen, scrub-on-scroll, crisp controls, gorgeous yellow accents. Nicely done.
Small site. Massive craft.
