Today I am sharing with you the famous recipe Bedu Roti of Uttarakhand…. The traditional cuisine of Uttarakhand is highly nutritious, simple and tasty and it is the magic of Uttarakhand cuisine… simple nutritious and so delicious… This delicious and nutritious chapati (Bedoo Roti) made of mandua and wheat flour is full of taste and health. .... To make this Bedu Roti, first of all, Mandua and wheat flour are mixed together and kneaded well ... and stuffed with urad dal (mass dal) paste, these wheat and mandua flour chapaties are delicious nutritious and very filling. It is as much a part of breakfast as that lunch or dinner

Ingredients for dough

Wheat flour – 1 cup
Madua flour – 1 cup
Water as requited

Ingredients for stuffing

Urad dal
Asafetida
Salt to taste
Turmeric powder
Black pepper
Green chilli

Preparation

Overnight soaked urad dal and make a paste of it in a mixes or desi silbatta
Mix wheat flour and mandua flour well and knead with water (Keep the dough aside )

Take mandua and wheat flour dough and stuff with dal paste roll into chapatti and cook from bothside on tawa.

Ensure that the chapaties are cooked well.
