An Indian man has been arrested in the US after he shot his wife and their three relatives dead inside a home. The police said the matter was related to a domestic dispute and the shooter has been identified as 51-year-old Vijay Kumar. Investigators further said that at the time of the shooting, three children, including Kumar's 12-year-old child, hid in a closet and survived the tragedy.

The Indian Mission in Atlanta said that all possible assistance is being extended to the bereaved family. "We are deeply grieved by a tragic shooting incident linked to an alleged family dispute in which an Indian national was among the victims. The alleged shooter has been arrested, and all possible assistance is being extended to the bereaved family," it tweeted.
