Speaking during the 81st session of the UN General Assembly in New York, Erdogan said that all disputes in South Asia, including the Kashmir issue, should be addressed through dialogue.

The remarks mark another instance of Erdogan referring to Kashmir during his UNGA address. His latest comments come as India and Pakistan continue to have sharply differing positions over the issue.

Erdogan specifically invoked the UN Charter and relevant resolutions while calling for dialogue on South Asian disputes.
