I can imageine that it is with great sorrow to most level crossing enthusiasts that I bring such a video to you. Although it is interesting to see such a process take place.
This marks the first LED install since 2024 with Stow Bardolph and the first on the seemingly sacred Marston Vale Line since 2019 after Aspley Guise. It is a tragedy to see the number of UK halogen crossings fall even further with just 14 remaining as of the uploading of this video.
I thank this crossing's halogen wigwags for the memories for over a decade now. It was a sad sight seeing them be dismantled before my very eyes. Although things often change, memories will always remain.
