I am dedicating this small video to Wing Commander Pooja Thakur, and also to ALL from the Indian armed forces, who are the true protectors of our nation.
It is NOT for showcasing the greatness of Barack Obama, NOT for the greatness of Narendra Modi, but to showcase and highlight the pride we got seeing Wing Commander Pooja Thakur leading the Guard of Honor for US President Barack Obama at the Rashtrapati Bhavan. First time a woman officer has led the Guard of Honour for a major visiting dignitary at the Rashtrapati Bhavan.
I literally got goosebumps watching it, I really felt proud of Wing Commander Pooja Thakur. Honestly, my eyes got wet realizing what a great accomplishment that was on display there! It's my sincere wish that we the present generation STOP worshiping the likes of Puja Bedi/ Puja Bhat/ Puja Gandhi etc... and instead consider Pooja Thakur as our role model like emoticon like emoticon
As a tribute, as a token of appreciation and gratitude, I have compiled this small video- borrowing Doordarshan's telecast clipping and also a footage from the Indian army. I have hosted it on my YouTube channel, as a remembrance of the 66th Republic Day of India.
