Hello and welcome!
I have been working on my Elsa 1890s Cosplay, and I have a wig that needs styled. The biggest problem is that I don't have any sort of wig stand or head form that I can use to hold my wig while I style it.
I ran across a fabric head form pattern created by Lynn McMasters of Out of a portrait patterns, and I decided it would work perfectly for me!
I have a couple take-aways about this make, and they are mostly a learning curve for me because I don't have any experience working with wigs or wig forms.
The head is very top heavy, and when I make it in the future I will add a stand or weight to the bottom to make it less so.
For this particular wig head, I think I will plan on adding hardware that will allow for attaching a wig head stand and clamp (I didn't even know those were a thing). I've included a link below to the clamp I plan on purchasing.
Let me know if you decide to make your own Fabric Head Form!
Thank you for watching!
