Ingredients:
1. Groundnuts-2 cups
2. Cloves- 1/8 cup
3. Uda -2 strands
4. Onions flakes- 1/2 cup
5. Garlic -1/8 cup
6. Ginger- 1/4 cup
7. Calabash nutmeg Ehuru -4 seeds
8. Black pepper- 1/8 cup
9. Chili Pepper -1 teaspoon ( according to your preference or tolerance for spicy food or heat) you can also use paprika to achieve the red colour, it’s up to you!
10. Anise -1/8 cup
11. Turmeric- 1/2teaspoon
12. Salt - 1 teaspoon or salt to taste

Optional spices:
*Cayenne Pepper
*Kajiji / Guinea rush / Adrue / jointed flatsedge / priprioca / Cyperus articulatus
