Hello all! :D

Believe it or not, the Range Rover P38 is actually my favourite car of all time, a superb mixture of internal refinement and off-road performance that essentially created a Rolls-Royce to climb Mount Everest, all encapsulated in a neat and handsome bodyshell which doesn't stray too far from the proven Range Rover lines, but is still distinctive in its own right.

But despite the P38's many endearing features, even I will note its many faults, with fit and finish problems, mechanical issues and build quality errors creating what was once the most unreliable car on sale, made worse by the fact that it was costing customers up to £50,000 to buy, resulting in Land Rover, and its parent BMW, turning what was meant to be the face of Range Rover for at least a decade into a simple stop-gap.
