Kouri Richins is expected to be in court on Wednesday and Thursday for a two-day evidentiary hearing ahead of her murder trial. Richins is accused of poisoning her husband by slipping fentanyl into his drink, disguising it in a Moscow mule, then writing a children’s book about grief. The court will review motions and evidence for the upcoming trial throughout the hearing. Richins faces charges of aggravated murder and attempted aggravated murder. The Utah mom was arrested in May 2023 in connection with her husband Eric Richins’ killing the previous year.
