Keeping all the simulation results for 100’s or 1000’s of design concepts is often not practical and also means going to other tools to review the information.
To streamline the process of reviewing design study results, Red Cedar Technology has partnered with Visual Collaboration Technologies to enable interactive review of designs and simulation results. With VCollab tools integrated within HEEDS, you have the ability to generate interactive models from leading edge CAD and CAE products for each design iteration. This provides visual control aspects such as part visibility, the type of result displayed, and section clipping delivering more detail and flexibility.
So, instead of viewing just static images associated with each design variation, you now have the added convenience of quickly looking at results from all angles without the need to load the data in the specific simulation product. With VCollab files being a fraction of the source results file size, you can review the key results for all variations quickly and efficiently. More importantly, you can do this all from within HEEDS.
To assist in recording results or for the design review process, VCollab files can be directly embedded in Microsoft Office applications such as PowerPoint. Results can now be dynamically viewed which is a powerful capability when comparing different designs.
