The Christmas nights get their name from the Beatles song “Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds”. The “Lucy” lights comprise some 11,150 glass crystals and 23,100 LED lights, illuminating the entire length of the 1,050-metre stretch from Bahnhofplatz to Bürkliplatz. This Christmas highlight in Zurich enchants young and old alike every year.

From Thursday, November 20 to Tuesday, December 24, 2025, the 31st Zurich Christmas Market helds at Zurich Main Station, creating a festive atmosphere in the main hall.

It is one of the largest indoor Christmas markets in Europe and enchants Switzerland's largest railroad station every year.
