[Home Movies Hoffman - HOF149 1928]
This home movie captures the everyday life of a 1920s family. It begins with a man driving a car, then getting it stuck in the mud and pushing it out. They are then seen standing by a large building and grounds, and walking through the woods along a path. The girl plays in the play park, stands on garden steps, and holds her mother's hand. The family then visits a hotel, drives through a town, and stops at Ye Old Broken Bucket where a man pulls up water from a well. They then take a trip to a waterfall, where they walk on a wooden path through the gorge, sit on boulders, and enjoy a boat ride along the river. The movie ends with the family driving along a rocky track, playing croquet in a garden, and coming home to a large building.
