Dolphins send off sound waves with their "clicks" from their jaw bones, this sound waves hit the target they focus on, such as a boat, or a fish, or a human, then it returns to their "melons" which is located in front of their brains, this area transforms the sound waves to a three dimensional image into their brain, which means they see "through" you, they see your skeleton, your inner organs etc, their sound waves works like an ultra-scan. Their brain is also much more complicated and heavier than humans. In this video, we had over 30 endangered short-beaked common dolphins swimming all around us, they are sadly endangered in the Mediterranean. The underwater film was made using a go pro, but we couldn't see what we were filming, we pointed at random under the water - which means we had plenty of luck in getting some underwater footage.
