Hurricane Ian in Golden Gate FL (Long/Full Video)

Описание: This video shows the effects of Hurricane Ian's winds at my location in Golden Gate, Florida on the 28th of September 2022.
While the core missed to the north, estimated peak sustained winds at my location were about 50 mph (45 kt) with sustained winds of 66 mph being reported just a few miles to my north-northwest.
The peak gust I experienced during Ian was likely around 85 mph (75 kt).
After the storm, my neighbors on both sides had tree losses, and there were many snapped trees and large branches around the area.
Minor roof damage was quite widespread as well.
No storm surge occurred at my location (approx. 7 miles inland), and only minor rainfall pooling occurred.
The peak winds oddly enough didn't have much rain accompanying them.
Wind gusts reaching 40 mph (34 kt) likely occurred starting at about 2:05 and lasting through the duration of the video.
Wind gusts reaching at least 58 mph (50 kt) began to occur starting around 3:14 and lasted until about 30:25, although they returned after dark and when the video ended, making loud wind sounds that I heard outside my window as I was heading to bed around 9 PM.
Lastly, wind gusts of at least 74 mph (64 kt), while sporadic and sparse, likely began to occur every so often beginning 14:15 and concluding around 21:25.
Keep in mind that these gusts only occurred a few times throughout this period and were quite rare, but were also quite damaging.
