Today we’re heading to climb Haritha Kanda! 🏞️
Located in Bagawanthalawa, Nuwara Eliya district, Sri Lanka, this beautiful mountain is often called Haritha Kanda (meaning Green Mountain) or sometimes even Little New Zealand.
Standing tall at 1907m above sea level, it’s a favorite spot among hikers and campers. Many choose it as a camping location to rest, while others, like us, take on the hike to the summit.
Interestingly, the world-famous Pekoe Trail also passes through here, making it a popular resting point for trekkers along the trail.
