Character Design:
Change is constant, however, Rita's consistency in serving beauty with elegance never changes. I've always missed these elegant battlesuits in the game. Not that the recent battlesuits haven't been in character, but Rita battlesuits always feel special. It's simple, the dark colors blend in dark places (duh) but pop out on stages since most of them are well lit places. It's very sexy and seductive which is very Rita. I wonder if this battlesuit existed in a different reality where she wears a suit and fights with an umbrella.....
Battlesuit controls and gameplay:
I feel like this is the norm in Wheel of Destiny DPS characters where the gameplay unusually involves pressing so many buttons to do so many shit and Rita is not an exception. This makes using her feel like the player is more involved than simply mashing buttons. Having evasions be integrated in your damage sequence is always a good thing. The only awkward part of her sequence is doing the evade + WA into basics. I don't know it just feels weird to do input wise and visually.
Battlesuit performance:
considering she is IMG, she would be extremely flexible as a lightning DPS. She inflicts a good amount of Paralyze trauma which will make her an alternative to Helia weathers. However, Helia still inflicts Paralyze trauma better. Unlike Reign Solaris, Miss Espionage has the IMG core instakill kit which makes Rita an even more flexible IMG dps than Durandal.
Overall verdict:
Despite being a "filler" valk for a "filler" patch considering CNY/GLB anniversary will come after 8.6, Rita so far feels like a really solid valkyrie. If you loved Thelema's gameplay, you'll surely love Miss Espionage. She can be a good alternative for Helia's Paralyze Weathers. Being IMG helps her a lot in being more flexible. Even your approach to her gameplay is flexible which opens up different damage sequences in and out of Stellar Outburst. Support wise, it's hard to measure her strength since EN beta only has 490D now which is barely an increase. Enemies still fold too quickly. Which is why it was also hard to measure Hi Love Elf's support capabilities during the EN Beta. Only time will tell. I may or may not make a vid showcasing Miss Espionage supporting Wheel of Destiny and Law of Ascension teams. But since this is Honkai Impact, support impact always wins.

I just wish Rita would step on me.
