The YK43F series is a high-performance pilot piston type gas pressure reducing valve, specifically engineered to automatically reduce and stabilize high inlet gas pressure to a constant, lower outlet pressure required by downstream equipment. It ensures safe, efficient, and continuous gas supply in industrial, commercial, and institutional applications.
Core Features
Dual-Control Pressure Regulation: Adopts a pilot valve + main piston structure. The pilot valve precisely controls the pressure of the main piston's upper cavity, enabling the main valve to adjust the opening degree in real time, achieving high-precision pressure stabilization (pressure fluctuation range ≤ ±5%).
Wide Applicability: Compatible with multiple inert and non-corrosive gases, including nitrogen, oxygen, argon, compressed air, and natural gas. It supports inlet pressure up to 16MPa and outlet pressure adjustable within 0.05-10MPa (different models for specific ranges).
Stable Operation & Durability: The main piston and valve seat are made of high-strength brass or stainless steel (304/316), with excellent wear resistance and corrosion resistance. The built-in pressure relief structure prevents overpressure of the downstream pipeline, enhancing operational safety.
Working Principle
When the system starts, the inlet gas enters the main valve cavity and pushes the main piston downward, initially opening the main valve port to supply gas to the downstream.
Part of the downstream gas flows into the pilot valve cavity through the pressure sensing pipeline. The pilot valve's diaphragm detects the outlet pressure and adjusts its valve port opening: if the outlet pressure is lower than the set value, the pilot valve opens wider to increase the pressure in the main piston's upper cavity, pushing the main valve to open further and increase the outlet pressure; if the outlet pressure exceeds the set value, the pilot valve closes partially to reduce the upper cavity pressure, and the main valve closes slightly under the action of the spring to lower the outlet pressure.
When the downstream gas consumption changes, the pilot valve continuously detects pressure changes and adjusts the main valve in real time, maintaining the outlet pressure at the preset constant value.
Typical Applications
Industrial gas supply systems: Pressure regulation for cutting, welding, and heat treatment equipment using oxygen, acetylene, or argon.
Pipeline gas systems: Stable pressure supply for natural gas or liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) in commercial kitchens, residential quarters, and industrial boilers.
Instrumentation and control systems: Providing stable pressure for pneumatic control valves, pressure transmitters, and other precision instruments to ensure accurate operation.
