Kek yang sentiasa menjadi pilihan ramai sejak zaman-berzaman iaitu kek marble. Kek marble cukup mudah disediakan dengan gabungan rasa vanila dan coklat dengan corak marble di bahagian dalam kek. Dalam resepi ini, saya menggunakan Buttercup yang dalam tub untuk versi jimat dan menambahkan susu penuh krim, susu pekat manis dan serbuk badam untuk menambah rasa sedap dan lemak pada kek. Tekstur kek sangat lembap walaupun tanpa menggunakan mentega tulen dan tidak mudah berderai ketika dipotong walaupun kek masih suam. Memang sesuai dijadikan sajian minum petang bersama keluarga ataupun dijadikan sebagai buah tangan.

Saiz Hidangan : 1 biji kek bersaiz 8x8 inci
BAHAN-BAHAN:
300 gram Buttercup/marjerin/mentega bergaram (lembutkan) | 1 & 1/4 cawan
150 gram gula halus/gula kastor | 3/4 cawan
6 biji telur gred A (suhu bilik)
80 gram susu pekat manis | 4 sudu besar
16 gram serbuk badam | 2 sudu besar (optional)
3 sudu teh esen vanila
292 gram tepung gandum | 2 & 1/3 cawan
16 gram tepung jagung | 2 sudu besar
6 gram baking powder | 2 sudu teh
75 ml susu penuh krim | 1/3 cawan
15 gram serbuk koko | 3 sudu besar
SUHU MEMBAKAR : 170℃ | 335℉ selama 55 minit, atau sehingga lidi pencucuk bersih jika dicucuk pada tengah kek. Bakar pada rak kedua dari bawah menggunakan api atas bawah. Ketuhar dipanaskan dahulu selama 15 minit.

This divine butter cake is one of most popular cake that one will never get bored of eating. This easy to make marble cake is so delicious and moist and scrumptiously flavored with chocolate and vanilla. The characteristic of this cake is the swirled pattern that resembles marble, achieved by lightly blending plain and chocolate batter. In this recipe, I used Buttercup in the tub and I added sweetened condensed milk, full cream milk and almond ground for additional flavors. The cake is moist and not crumbly even when you slice it while the cake is still warm. This cake is fantastic for your tea time with your family or as a gift.

Yields : 1 of an 8 x 8 inches cake
INGREDIENTS:
300 grams Buttercup/margarine/softened salted butter | 1 & 1/4 cups
150 grams fine sugar/caster sugar | 3/4 cup
6 large eggs (room temperature)
3 tsp vanilla essence
16 grams almond ground | 2 tbsp
80 grams sweetened condensed milk | 4 tbsp
292 grams all purpose flour | 2 & 1/3 cups
16 grams corn flour | 2 tbsp
6 grams baking powder | 2 tsp
75 ml full cream milk | 1/3 cup
15 grams cocoa powder | 3 tbsp
BAKING TEMPERATURE : 170℃ | 335℉ for 55 minutes, or until inserted skewer at cake center comes out clean. Bake at second from bottom rack, top & bottom heat mode. Oven is preheated for 15 minutes.
