As part of an urban regeneration project, an urban art project was carried out on the roof of the underground car park in the market area of Corso Racconigi. The project is a dialogue between urban painting and street furniture, designed to redesign the aesthetics and use of the area, shifting the attention and participation of the neighborhood to a previously underutilized space. Colorful patterns and shapes draw islands connected by bridges, inviting new functions: seating, play areas, and fitness equipment involve a diverse user base in the reappropriation of the city.
A colorful carpet covers the old walkable ground and highlights new possible uses: through a simple and vibrant palette, the covering becomes a globe for moving and staying, made up of activities and ways of experiencing the collective space.
