The man arrested in connection with the rape and murder of six-year-old Amantle Samane will make his first court appearance today. Pethe Sara Simiao was arrested on Wednesday after days on the run. Amantle was playing with friends near her home in Orlando East, Soweto on Monday, when Simiao allegedly called her to his rented shack. Her body was later found in Simiao's shack with signs that she had been raped and strangled. Newzroom Afrika's Nqobile Madlala reports.
