Love Can Make You Happy ~ Jalopy Five (1969)

Описание: When #HitRecords went "bye-bye," #TopPopHits took its place for a total of 15 records. The labels looked similar, but the similarities didn't stop there. The same names carried over with the new label. #TheJalopyFive did a ton of stuff for Hit, and they did this one for Top Pop Hits, the "B" side to "Jean" by #BobbySims. Several well known artists recorded for these “knockoff” labels under assumed names including #ConnieLanders, #RayStevens, #SandyPosey, #BuzzCason, and #BobbyRussell. Via software, #Polderbits, I have equalized these so they don't sound “flat” as well as removing as much noise as possible. In some cases we know who the artists are on these “knockoffs,” and in some cases, it's guesswork. If I know who it is performing, I'll post it, and I most certainly welcome feedback! Oh, please note that my musical tastes are all over the place. I have a LOT of Southern Gospel that I'll be uploading, but I also have a lot of 60's rock, old country, stuff from the 20's through the 50's. I appreciate the music publishers for allowing these little heard gems to stay on my channel. I'm not trying to make money here or step on anybody's toes with copyright infringement. If there's ever a problem with anything I upload, I will be more than happy to take it down. I'm a collector who has amassed close to 50,000 songs on my computer, and I like to share things that are not heard too often. I imagine the majority of what I post isn't even on CD or any other digital format.
