Arlong is the most terrifying thing I’ve seen so far His design is fantastic and he’s probably the only villain that made me hate him because of how freaking cruel he is And apart from him the other fishmen also have very unique designs, personalities and abilities Which makes them extremely memorable Bellmere is also an incredible character And even though she only appears for a little while I still felt really attached to her There’s also some great world building with the marines Especially when you realise that within this society that’s meant to fight for justice there are still really corrupt members Like the guy who was getting paid by Arlong The character development for Nami is perfection But the main problem of the arc is that everything takes so long to unfold Especially the fights that can feel so freaking dragged out And even though it’s almost perfect I’ll give it a 9 out of 10
