Today it's the 59th Anniversary of Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas! (1966 TV Special), premiere on CBS on December 18th, 1966. It is the first Dr. Seuss TV Special produced by A Cat in the Hat Presentation and MGM Television. It would later seen on Cartoon Network, TNT, TBS and NBC. MeTV Toons won't be airing this holiday special, Because NBC still has the rights to Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas!. Hopefully it will air on MeTV Toons part of 'Tis the Season for Toons block sometimes in the future, since MeTV Toons aired some Chuck Jones content seen on Bugs Bunny and Friends, The Tom and Jerry Show, Toon In with Me and Cartoon All-Stars.
