We've been lucky to have a pretty mild winter up here and the horses are looking good. We went out to check on them with Nana Lawrence and a little helper.
This is one of our pastures where we winter our horse herd. You can see the remnants of straw used for bedding and hay we use to supplement the winter grazing.
While not as beautiful as the green grass and trees of our summer, winter on our ranch is beautiful in its own way.
