In this video, we’re taking a second look at Capcom’s first attempt at bringing Resident Evil into first-person. With short length, branching paths, and a surprisingly fun gameplay loop, Survivor is far from perfect, but it offers a unique perspective on the Umbrella Corporation and the series’ evolution.

This video is part of Jake’s Save Room Resident Evil Ark, where we’re covering every single Resident Evil game, from the mainline entries to the forgotten spin-offs. Season 1 takes us from Resident Evil (1996) all the way through Survivor, before we move into Code Veronica and beyond.
