This song is written from a place of respect, frustration, and love for Britain.
Like many, I believed in Nigel Farage and The Reform Party — in the promise of fixing what twenty-plus years of weak leadership has broken. Reform still feels like our last real hope to set Britain back on course.
But there is a line I cannot cross.
I will never support hunting for fun — foxes ripped apart by hounds, birds shot from the sky for sport, cruelty dressed up as “tradition.” Calling it “country ways” doesn’t make it right. Most of us do understand rural life — and we also understand suffering, fear, and needless pain.
If Reform want to listen, they still can. But pushing to bring back blood sports — to please wealthy landowners and donors — risks losing thousands of ordinary supporters like me. It threatens to become not just the rise, but the fall, of someone many saw as a near-leader, almost a saviour.
This song is a plea: keep the courage, keep the reform — but leave cruelty in the past. Britain deserves better than politics funded by pain.
