The Karachi administration has intensified its crackdown against urea-contaminated milk. According to the Commissioner’s office, 7 more milk shops have been sealed on Tuesday — 3 in the South district, 3 in the East, and 1 in Malir. Over the past two days, a total of 27 milk shops have been shut down for selling unsafe and adulterated milk.
Commissioner Karachi Hasan Naqvi stated that sealed shops will not be reopened without heavy fines and written assurance of selling pure milk. The campaign against milk adulteration will continue across the city.
