You cant imagine how village birding is exciting !
My birding trip started in at lake Jilore in the northern part of Kenya coast.
This place is amazing ! The lake was half dry and fishermen from the village were busy fishing .Women were buying fish and others farming.
As we walked down the lake with my friend, we spotted a big flock of Madagascar Pratincoles in the sky that was preparing to land .
White-faced whistling ducks, Glossy Ibis, Open bills, Egrets and plovers were also seen on shallow pools,
The Green-Malkoha, Crowned Hornbill, Narina Trogon, Parrot billed Sparrow and Greater blue-eared Starlings were some of trhe birds spotted in the Woodlands and open bushes.
The big flock of Madagascar Pratincole was a lifetime experince that we can't forget.
