In Intransitive Verb we don't need direct object
The sentence makes sense on its own.
Structure:
Subject + verb
Examples:
The baby cried.
He slept.
We laughed.
Adding an object would be make the sentence incorrect:
❌ He slept the bed.
Verbs That Can Be Both
Some verbs can be transitive or intransitive, depending on how they’re used.
Examples:
She runs every morning. (intransitive)
She runs a business. (transitive)
He stopped suddenly. (intransitive)
He stopped the car. (transitive)
