The report of the United Nations University that the Mullaperiyar Dam has structural damage and the possibility of collapse cannot be ruled out is being discussed on social media. Meanwhile, the Supreme Court will hear public interest litigation related to the Mullaperiyar Dam today. The state government will inform the Supreme Court about the current water level in the dam.
